About

“Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.” –Harriet Tubman

A family owned business, we shoot as a couple, we shoot as friends, we shoot as family. We develop personal connections to bring your story to life, delivering a unique, custom and memorable experience.

I first discovered my love for photography in 1996 while enlisted as a military photographer. While in the Navy, I was trained in all facets of the art including, but not limited to: Portraiture, Sports, Landscape, Studio and News photography. After 2 years of active duty service, the military sent me to design school. Thus, the universe brought to me my career path.

As my passion became my work, it became the passion of my partner, Joseph. An artist himself, Joseph embraced the work, the angles, the shadows, the lighting. He became a critical component to my work and the work of the Studio—his unique perspective, humor and ability to connect with others brought new life to our couples shoots and weddings. We prefer to shoot these types of events together and our clients enjoy the harmony, the laughter and the joy that comes naturally from our collaboration.

Throughout the years, I have won numerous local and national awards for my photography and have been featured in galleries and museums both nationally and internationally.

I graduated from Nassau Community College with an AAS in Commercial Design and Farmingdale State University of New York, with a BTECH in Visual Communications. In May of 2016, I graduated Summa Cum Laude, with my MFA in Photography, from Long Island University.

I am currently an Adjunct Professor of Photography at SUNY Farmingdale, where I am fortunate enough to be able to share my passion and experience with New York’s future photographers and artists.
